I actually think that the creator of Shrek came up with his visual for an Ogre while driving an SUV and observing the shadow in front of the car. It makes me smile when I see my shadow. I also think of Peter Pan battling his shadow, so it is a playful thought to consider a shadow. I am not going to get started on our obsession with phones right now, but it is easy to miss moments if we are not looking. It is a reason that we enjoy movies so much, that there are moments when we observe something that strikes us as hilarious. An example being the donkey appearing in the upper window of the church as Shrek continues to toss him in the air to observe what part of the wedding they are on. Or the movie “Now you see me 2” when the magicians are are suddenly looking into the window of the airplane after being tossed out the door without a parachute by the bad guys. Movie moments are great, but life moments happen anywhere, anytime. But only if you are looking, and there is no better day to be looking than on a Happy Friday.
