As a kid, if we had an argument with another kid, the argument dissolved into,
“My dad is bigger than your dad.” No one ever won these arguments, and they
dissipated completely when we saw our dads sipping beers together at the street picnic.
Over the last few months, I have heard more news pieces about Artificial Intelligence than in my lifetime before that. To say it is a hot topic is to say that Taylor Swift is kinda popular. With new uses popping up each time it rains here, when will we realize that there is an AI available to help us do almost anything?
Of course this will have to go down the shadowy path of not just being invasive into our personal data, but learning our secret passwords or digging up our dirt. The computer virus is no longer the biggest threat.
The first personal AI that we will be offered is one to protect us against invasive AI seeing important information. Then the race is on to say, “My AI is bigger than your AI.” Is this just a battle of wits or something else? Not saying that I am scared to use an AI or sincerely concerned over where this injection of AI into our daily lives is leading.
We have clearly started down the path where the use of artificial intelligence will become commonplace, yet it does not have to follow our sensational fears.
But it could…
Therefore, with that information out there, I can say that I have started writing a book about an incredible AI program. With learning at the center of its intelligence, the program accomplishes more than a human can. The ability of a computer to process huge volumes of data gives it an advantage over our human capacities.
However, advancement without a human’s ability to judge if it is right can lead to unwanted circumstances. Hope that you will view some recent work on this book idea by clicking the book link below.
Have a Happy Friday.
