I heard an announcement that they were going to show the movie Jaws on a beach. That is the movie screen will be on the beach. The viewers will be floating on a raft in the water. The reason they are doing it is easy. People will pay to go to this. Discussing the idea strikes the funny bone. Great conversation. Wanting to do this has to have a different motivation which I truly cannot comprehend.

This type of thing has been done already. The movie Halloween is shown on and around Halloween every year. I am willing to bet that the Texas Chainsaw massacre has been shown in a barn with items hanging around. You guessed it, chain saws. In the future we will see the movie Alien while at the space station. Or on the moon. Of course that one only costs a few million dollars to see. Hope the popcorn is free.

We saw the movie European vacation while on a European Vacation. It was hilarious with so many mishaps and humorous interactions between the travelers. Our tour guide knew it was a risk to show this, but she was a very unique guide. It was a special trip with people bonding together from Canada, South Africa, US and Indonesia. Even the guide was in tears at the end saying this is why she tries to keep herself separate from the group in free time, but in spite of keeping her distance, this group touched her heart as much as we fell for each other.

We heard a National Champion accordion player in Check Republic, an orchestra in Vienna, and visited a vineyard that had been taken from the family by the Germans during the war, but gifted back 40 years later. While we have pictures of what we saw, our memories are of the interacting with the group.

Don’t really think that the memories will be of the group if you see Jaws while floating on a raft dangling the feet behind you in the water. No one will be fond of the practical joker that pulls a stunt during this party.
