My grandson was pouting. When my daughter told him he needs to learn to find a way to feel better to get into a happy mood, my 4-yr old granddaughter jumped in to share her worldly expertise.
“You know what makes me feel better? Chocolate. When I feel bad, I just have chocolate.”
I happen to witness the single experience that brought on this important lesson of handling life. She was actually having a bit of a tantrum and not getting the sympathy when her aunt stepped in to tell her those exact words and handed her a small piece of chocolate. As she took a lick, a smile washed over her face. Apparently, it was an unforgettable moment for her.
I remember it because I was amused by her reacting the way she did.
I hope that you can find amusement today in something you see. We are surrounded by kids. Love to hear the stories of something unexpectedly funny.
Have a Happy Friday.
