Thankful

A simple set of thanks for everything around me today, because, well it is Thanksgiving Day and if I said all of these during our prayer, my family be both eating cold food and would be fairly mad at me.

So thank you for:
The turkey in the roaster. This is a fresh turkey we got from Farmer Mike who has become instrumental in us eating more healthy chicken, beef, and eggs.

My dog who is watching the Dog Show with my daughter and family. The baby is standing on the floor wiggling more than the blown up tube creatures in front of a dealership having a sale. The dog’s leg is across my granddaughters legs waiting for her to give him more attention.

The messages today and the loving connection with my entire family. From my oldest daughter and son, to my brothers and nieces, plus a surprise cousin we discovered we had only a few years ago.

My wife of whom I could not express how amazing a wife/mother/grandmother that she truly is. I have always viewed her as spectacular and as attractive as Wonder Woman. I know not how either of them do what they do.

My parents who each have surpassed 90 years yet have made the huge transition to living with us. May they have the most special day with 7 great-grandchildren surrounding them.

Hope that you had a Happy Thanksgiving, and are finding the deals this Happy Friday.
